JPK – Harrachov – Giant Mountains
Original village Dörfl was found in 17. century nearby Seifenbachu (Sejfen, today Ryzí stream) and than in year 1714 renamed to Harrachov (originally Harrachsdorf) according to count name Harrach. After second world war Harrachov was linked with the communities Nový svět and Rýžoviště and in year 1959 with Mýtiny. From 1973 Harrachov has city status, symbol of Harrachov is emblem of the Count Harrach – three ostrich spring in red field.
